Pregnancy Risk Assessment: Menstrual Cycle, Aspirin & Yasmin Pill Concerns
Questioni would like to ask if there is a high risk that i would be able to get pregnant. I have remembered the first days of my menstruation for the last 2 months. my menses started may 12, june 12, and this month july 9. we have an intercourse last 26 5 am. the day after i drank a tablet of aspirin. but did not continue since i am afraid that its not the right choice. i searched over the internet last sunday jul7 27 about yasmin pills and i took 5 pills at 9 pm. i should take 5 pills 12 hours after but decided to go to the doctor last july 28 in the morning(10am). she tlod me that i got the wrong pill coz it contains higher doses of a derivative of progesterone. but she decided and told me to continue the pill for 2 more days 2 pills 3 times a day without specific hours of interval (just breakfast lunch and dinner time). she should have given me another type of pills if i have not started taking anything. to my dismay i just folllowed her advice of taking the yasmin pills for to more days (july 28 and 29). emergency contraceptive pills are not allowed here in our country and its very rare to find one even if it has. my question is, will i get pregnant?
AnswerHi Kaye,
I can't diagnose your condition over the internet. If EC pills are not allowed in your country, then why was the doctor giving you those. I don't understand. Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com
and we can talk more. Also for an article about EC, you can go to http://www.optionline.org
Please email me as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
