Pregnancy After D&C: Can You Conceive Again?

Hi, just wanna know if it's possible to get pregnant again after 4 times D&C? I am 30 years old and trying to conceive for 4 months now, my last D&C was year 2005..Thank you very much"

Hello Sweet,

Yes it is possible to get pregnant after 4 D&C's if no damage was done to the uterus.  The risk with D&C is if the doctor curettes the cavity to strong, scar tissue can be formed within the cavity.  That can then prevent pregnancy.  But if that has not been the case, and the cavity is normal, then you should not have any trouble getting pregnant, as long as there are no other factors.
