hi,iam in early stages of pregnancy. the thing is i already have 3 children my first was born in 98 by an emergency section, my second was born in 00 naturally and the third in 03 by emergency section. what im wondering is a rough percentage on the chance of having a natural birth.as i am scared of having another section as my last one was a complete mess. thanks

The risk of rupture of the uterus when trying for a VBAC is 1%. This increases with each cesarean section. There is no reason you cannot try for another VBAC, but you may have difficulty finding an obstetrician who will allow you to try for a VBAC after 2 cesarean sections. It also depends on the reason for the emergency cesarean section. Since I do not know your complete medical history, I would suggest that you discuss this with your obstetrician.
