Multiple C-Sections: Risks & Safe Options After a Previous Cesarean

How many elective cesarian sections (LSCS) can a woman undergo safely, i.e after how many caesars should she go for permanent contraception?

At the current stage  of knowledge, there is no number to say a woman should go for a permanent contraception after it. However the more the number the more the risk. Also the techique of the surgeon is a contributing factor. Usually te risk is too high with the 3rd and extremely high for the 4th. Personally I offer my patients a sterilization after the 4th although I have done 5 C.S on the same patient.
