Irregular Periods & Fertility Concerns: Seeking Expert Advice

My name is Brandy. I am 22 and I dont have any children. My last period was in July of 05. I was on the depo shot for about 6 to 9 months when I was 16. That was over 6 years and my periods are still irreglar. My hormones are serverly messed up. I want children ,very bad in fact. I was wanting to know is there anything that you can help me with..I have heard about a drug called ovulex that i am thinking about taking. But I need an opinion. thanks

DepoProvera has messed up many women by interferiing with their cycles. It can cause complete cesation of the period and can prevent regular cycles for many years after stopping the shots. I would suggest that you go on birth control pills for a few months to regulate your cycle. Then stop the pills and try to conceive. I would not use "ovulex" since you do not know whether you are ovulating or not. Please consult with your gynecologist.
