I have had two previous pregancies that resulted in miscarriges, given my past should I go for more check ups or sonograms than normal?

Miscarriage occurs in 15-20% of every pregnancy. There is nothing you can do to cause a miscarriage and there is nothing you can do to prevent a miscarriage. You do not have to have more visits to the doctor or more sonograms than usual. You should have a sonogram when you first have any bleeding and you should have a sonogram at 20 weeks gestation (from the first day of your last period). The chance of miscarriage is the same.
