Allergy Shots and Pregnancy: Safety & Considerations

I am 25, 2 children, 3/11/06 was the date of my last period.

I am pregnant, can I still get allergy shots without harming the baby?

Usually, we do not encourage allergy shots during pregnancy.Allergy shots are really a minute amount of antigen tht is injected into the skin. Depending on what allergen is used, there may be an ill effect on the pregnancy. Avoid shots until after the baby is born.
