Flu Shots & Post-Vaccination Symptoms: What to Expect

I recently got my first flu shot in years, and on Monday I felt sick. I usually only get sick once a year. I assume it might have been a stomach flu. I felt iche, very uneasy stomach, felt like curling up and getting as warm or hot as possible, dizzy, and frequently tired. Only today have I started to feel better, yet still kind of tired. Are flu shots known to give people the flu soon afterwards?

The problem with flu shots is that we give them at a time of year when people get sick with other stuff.....    this is not a reaction to the flu shot..... this is simply one of the illnesses people get at this time of year.... it will pass in a couple of days.
