Allergic Reaction to Band-Aids After Mole Removal: Alternatives & Solutions

Question
QUESTION: I had some moles removed several days ago and I'm having an allergic reaction to the adhesive on the bandaids.  I'm to keep the incisions covered until my stitches are moved in 10 days.  What can I use besides bandaids to cover the incisions (one of which is on my nose)?  Thank you!
ANSWER: this may be latex... you can use non latex... or it can be due to the glue... in that case, you can't use anything... I would try non-latex first in hopes that it would work....

QUESTION: I stopped using the bandaids and the redness from that went away.  Now I'm concerned about the polysporin.  I have little blisterlike bumps around the incisions.  Is this normal?  Or could it be a reaction to the polysporin?  Is it possible to develop these allergies at the age of 47?  Thank you for your help!

Answer
it could be polysporin easily, less likely the latex and less likely than that, the adhesive.  Try putting a little bit of any of these on the upper/inner arm on that soft skin and whatever you break out from is the offender and you know not to use it again.
