Can You Get Pregnant After Skipping Birth Control?
QuestionI am 18 years old and my husband and I have been married for almost a year. I have only been on birth control since last June and even then I would miss a lot of days taking it. We decided to start having children, I am only 4 days off birth control and the first day of my last period was May 4th. Is there any way I CAN get pregnant just 4 days off birth control? I know probably not but I was just wondering I am so excited to get pregnant!
AnswerIf you stopped the pill and had your period on May 4, you will probably ovulated on May 17. You can conceive if you have sex on May 16,17,18, or 19. If you do become pregnant a pregnancy test will not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. As long as you did get your period, you can ovulate and can conceive. Good Luck.
