Question
i am 26. i have two kids. My last menstrual period was on september 4, 2005. I started the patch and August 2005. I changed it every week like i was supose to and the forth week i took it off for my off week. i forgot to put it back on. my patch change day was wednesdy. i remembered the saturday after. so it was off for four days. i had sex that saturday before i remeberded to put it on... what is the possible that i could be pregnant. should the medicine still be in my body.

Answer
If your last period started on September 4 and forgot to start the patch, the earliest you could have ovulated would be September 17 and could have conceived if you had unprotected sex on September 16,17,18, ot 19. If you did become pregnant on one of those days, a pregnancy test would not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your next period. Usually, a birth control pill can be forgotten for up to three days before you can become pregnant. I don't know whether any studies of this have been made with the patch. If you don't get your period on time, I would suggest that you take a pregnancy test.
