Gestational Hypertension Risk in Subsequent Pregnancies: A Medical Q&A

The first day of my last period was 12/27/05.  I am 25 weeks pregnant and have 1 child who is 2 1/2 years old.  When I was pregnant with my first child, I developed gestational hypertension but cannot recall when.  The doctor took me off at 33 weeks but I know I developed it prior to that time.  Am I likely to develope this with this pregnancy?  If so, do you know when this usually occurs?  I'm concerned because I had my son 10 days earlier and he was only 5 pounds 9 ounces because of my blood pressure.  I also had major swelling but no protein in my urine.  Thanks for your time.

What medication did you get from your doctor that was stopped at 33 weeks? Was it for the hypertension or for the gestational diabetes.
