Managing Brown Bleeding at 15 Weeks: What It Means for Your Pregnancy
QuestionAt 6 weeks pregnant I was told I have small blood pocket or hemmorage, not sure on the actual term but anyways I bled for awhile and then it stopped for awhile. I am 15 weeks pregnant now and the other night I noticed I was bleeding again but it is brown blood which I have been told is old blood. The doctors say the baby is fine, just told me to monitor the bleeding. It hasn't shown any sign of red blood just straight brown blood. I did pass a clot that was a little smaller than a dime but it was brown blood. Should I be concerned that I have a brown blood clot apearing or is my body just getting rid of the old blood that seems to be built up in me. I just want to make sure my baby isn't in danger.
AnswerDear Crystal
If your doctor said that your baby is Ok after passing the clot, then there is nothing new to worry about. However you should keep your antenatal care visits in time with your doctor in order to detect any complications should they develop.
Good Luck
