Questionmy girlfriend and i had sexual intercourse in friday night, and saturday early afternoon, which i never finish inside her. on that saturday she was vomiting from the sounds of it and she said she felt sick. sunday morning she tells me that she is pregnant from that friday, 2 days ago, and took a pregnancy test on the following wednesday, 5 days later and came out positive, could she be pregnant from that friday 5 days ago?
AnswerHi Sergio :)
95% percent of women, dont even suspect they are pregnant until atleast a month into the pregnancy. That remaining 5% might feel the symtoms 10 days later.
Never, in all my years of practice, have I ever heard of someone having sex on a Friday, and by Sunday throwing up and claiming its morning sickness.
Hormones, especially HCG, takes some time to accumilate in the urine, to give a positive result. Infact, in most cases, women whom take tests 5 days after intercourse, get false "false" results, because the hormone level has not had time to double enough, to be prominate in the urine.
Also, If she was vomiting by Sunday, I can assure you this in no way was pregnancy related. As I said, it takes atleast 2-3 weeks, for symptoms to really appear, and even then its still rare that women suffer from morning sickness. Its not impossible, but its not typical.
The number one indication to woman that she is pregnant, is when she missed her period. Soon after, or around the time she missed her period, she could feel the onset of symptoms, such as nausea, headache, dizziness, and fatigue. From the time of ovulation, if conception would have occured, a missed period would be due approximately 2 weeks later, certainly not 5 days, unless she has a terribly iregular cycle. Even still, assuming she has an irregular cycle, the time frame you explained to me, makes absolutely no sense at all.
So, I think its safe to say, that if she is pregnant, the intercourse she had, to become pregnant happened quite earlier then the Friday, and Saturday, when you were intimate with her.
Also, I have to ask you this. Did you actually see the postive result? If not, I would purchase a test, and have her do it right infront of you, so you can see the positive result yourself. If it positive, Have her see a doctor immediately to confirm the pregnancy, and request a sonogram so you can get a exact gestational age of the fetus. Then, you can indicate if its at all possible, that the dates you had intercourse, would indicate if you fathered this child.
I am sorry Sergio, but this seems highly suspicious to me.
