I took a HPT a couple of weeks ago that came up +. I started bleeding last weekend so I saw a new obgyn on Monday. My cervix was closed, but he sent me for an U/S.
After the U/S the radiologist said I was 5 wks. pregnant. He saw a yolk sac, but told my Doc that he thought it would be a non-viable pregnancy. The following day, I went for a blood test. The # was 4159. 2 days later the # was 1599. It did not double. The weird thing is that the blood comes out mostly when I urinate and now very slightly. The Doc said that I will feel cramping and get a heavy-like menstrual period. How long will it take for this to happen?
Is there any chance @ all for this pregnancy to be viable? Should I seek another Doc and get a 2nd set of tests?
I am not impressed with this current Doc. I am fairly new to the area and have gotten some other names. Help!
