Understanding Early Pregnancy Loss: Symptoms & Next Steps

I started spotting last week with cramping.  I had an internal ultrasound done on Monday and they found the sac but no heartbeat.  I was told that I was around 7 weeks but according to the ultrasound the fetsus was either earlier than 7 weeks or an empty sac.  I went to work yesterday and started cramping again and bleeding heavier.  I passed a couple of blood clots but today I have rested and the bleeding is a lot lighter.  I am booked in on Friday for another scan.  The doctor told me I had a 60/40 chance of miscarriage.  I am hanging onto the 40% chance and keeping my fingers crossed.

I really cant answer any questions, until you have the scan there really is no answers. I wish you the best of luck and I hope your scan brings you good news. Stay rested and try to keep your mind occupied.
