Thank you so much

AnswerDear Jessica,
If your LMP was 4/21, then your fertile window (based on a 28 day cycle) would have been 5/1-5/11. We would anticipate that you would have ovulated on approximately 5/4. So, if you were having unprotected sex from the 1st through the 5th of May, your chances of conception are pretty high.
A pregnancy test done on 5/24 may or may not have been accurate. hCG levels at 4 weeks can range between 5 - 426 mIU/ml and tests will only read positive above 25 mIU/ml, so it is often too early to test for some women. I usually recommend that women wait until after the full week of a missed or spotty period before they test for pregnancy. This tends to minimize the incidence of false negative results.
I would suggest that you wait another 5-7 days and re-test. Make sure that you use 1st morning urine to get a concentrated sample for the most accurate results.
I hope this has helped you and answered your question. I wish you well and the results you are hoping for. And thank you so much for the sacrifices you and your husband are making for all of us.
