Persistent Post-C-Section Lump: Seeking a Second Opinion

3 years ago i had my son early. he was born at 31 weeks. i had a c-section and since than i have a lump with in 5 in of my cut. i have went to the and he said it was fine. i asked him again last year and the same. sometimes it hurts what should i do????

Dear Judy,

If you do not feel comfortable in your doctor's assessment of it, I can only suggest that you see another doctor and let him/her assess it to get another point of view. Obviously, I cannot even begin to speculate on what this might be from this forum. But seeing another doctor who can see it, palpate it, and possibly ultrasound or X-Ray it, would be able to give you a more thorough evaluation.
