QuestionDear Doctor,
My prolactin level was 80 in November 2015, then I started taking cabagoline. 5mg twice weekly at d prescription of my gynaecologist. Just this February 2016, I went for a serum prolactin test to check d present level, alas, it's dropped to less than 1.00ng/ml. I understand the normal level is 2 to 20, is my new level another trouble for me or is it okay? I've already stopped taking cabagoline.
Thanks for your prompt response.
AnswerHello Helen from Europe somewhere,
Since you've stopped the cabergoline, that is all you need to do. The prolactin level will normalize without doing anything more. The current level should not cause any problems.
Good Luck,
