Heel Pain Relief: Possible Causes & When to See a Doctor

Woke this morning with extreme pain in the heel of my foot.  So painful, I could barely walk.  Do not remember hurting the foot and it was fine when I went to bed last night

Dear Glenn,   Sorry, but my computer has been down for a few days....   As for the extremem pain the heel, it could be a heel spur or even a heel bruise....

If it persists, go to the doctor, because he/she may want to do some x-rays....
