Hip Pain & Arthritis: Causes, Treatments & Magnesium Oxide
QuestionI am a 60 yr.old man. I am in good health except for hip pain on my right side. I had xrays and the doctor says I have no wear and tear in my joints. When I walk or exercise my hip hurts, could I have arthritis? My hip always has pain, what can I do other then useing pain pills? What should I do?
AnswerThis can also be osteopenia of the hip which responds to magnesium oxide 500mg twice a day with calcium carbonate 500mg with vit D if OK with your doctor. Quicker relief is reached if you add 3000mg omega 3 twice a day if OK with your doctor. Have you had a DEXA scan for osteoporosis?
