Rectal Pain During Bowel Movements: Causes & Relief

Hi. I am concerned about the pain I have been having on and off for a couple months now. The pain is only when I poop. It feels like the poop is scratching the inner left wall of my rectum as it nears the edge of my anus. I have only found a little blood on the toilet paper a few times. Almost as if it is reopening a wound of some sort. Is it from wearing thongs? Do I not wash properly? I am scared of the outcome. Please help. Thankyou.

Sounds like it may be internal hemorrhoids however anytime there is bleeding I recommend a doctor visit.  

Don't be scared.........be proactive and seek the advice of your physician.  The rememdy may be very simple like increasing your fiber, stool softner.
