Answer
jenna;

on average,a menstrual cycle is 26 days long,although cycles normally range anywhere from 23-35 days. if your cycle doesnt fall within range,it may not be a problem.

however,extremely long or extremely short cycles are sometimes associated with infertility. on average,menstrual bleeding lasts 4-5 days,but periods as short as 2 days or as long as 7 arent unusual.

at times,your period may become temporarily irregular for no obvious reason. you may skip a period or have one thats much longer,shorter or heavier than usual. sometimes this change simply reflects your age. at other times,stress may play a role.
