AnswerMaranda,
here is how to determine a cycle: let's say you get your period on March 1. March 1 is Day ONE of your cycle. Counting from there, you would probably ovulate somewhere around day 10,11,12,13 in a normal healthy cycle, regardless of when your period stopped. You would start expecting your next period somewhere at the end of March, right? So you might get it March 29th, for example. If you did that would mean you had a 28 day cycle. The March 29th would start your whole new cycle over again.
I do doubt you are pregnant, considering you had a period and had 3 negative tests- but I still say it couldnt hurt to go to your doctor and see what if anything can be done about the irregular cycles. Sometimes they will recommend birth control pills to regulate a cycle. Sounds like you jut got lucky and had a short period but if it bothers you I am sure the dr would have something to correct this.
Age also has to do with it- if you are younger your periods can be irregular, and your body just has to adjust. not everyone is very regular.
I hope this helps! :-) A
