Neck Swelling and Pain: Possible Salivary Gland Issue - What To Do

when i eat r drink my neck swells and is very sore i can feel a stone in gland this is the last 5 days what can i do im taken amoclav 250mg 3 times daily and difene 75mg 2 daily but dont seem 2 b getting any better wit the pain if u have any sugestions much appreciated thanks

people can have a saliva gland infection or a stone blocking the passage of fluid.... since it is lasting so long, you need further workup and probably a referral to an ENT specialist.  This may hurt, but you could try sucking on sour candy or dill pickles which stimulates the glands and could pass the stone, but it probably will be painful.  Hope this helps.
