QuestionHi J.P.
I am 51. I have been doing 'all the right stuff' to say healthy since I turned 40, including not smoking, drinking limiting fats and sweets (I stopped eating red meat), and I stretch and take a daily walk.
In spite of that I still look 51, probably older. Like most guys I have a beer belly, I have developed hypertension and my doctor is concerned about my blood glucose level (diabetes). I guess most of that is genetic as my relatives are all in the same boat.
What constantly surprises me these days is the increasing numbers of entertainers that are still out rocking like they were in their youth. Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, many 60's groups, not to mention all the TV and movie stars still out there lo0king youthfull.
What do they all have in common, if anything?
Do they all just have 'good genes'?
I know that most die their hair and have had some surgical enhancement, and probably have personal trainers. Is it human growth hormone?I heard that Stallone takes it. That is also out of reach for most.
Thanks for your thoughts and any advice on fighting off father time!
AnswerGord,
Yes you guessed right.. most are on the "juice".... either testosterone or rhGH (Growth Hormone) and not just the men. Have you seen some celebrity women in their 50s and 60's for example Cher or Hutton... they look like women in their 30s. Well some plastic surgery in places but GH therapy for sure (and confessed to taking it as well).
Exercise is important and studies show that just 1 hour once a day just doesn't cut it.. it is continuous activity t/o the day that is what matters, so even an intense workout for an hour and the rest of the day 23-hrs on the couch will not produce weight loss or the body of Adonis. For more on growth hormone email me and I will send you and article and a powerpoint presentation. For consultation on this matter visit www.saleeby.net and my telemedicine service.
In good health,
