2. How long do the shots work? How often can you get them?
3. Should i see a orthopedic doctor or is the physical therpay doctor whom did the eng on me good to give the shots? In my area i cant find but one doctor listed as a hand specialist. alot of orthopedic doc;s though,
thanks
AnswerHi Christopher,
Orthopaedic physicians can give these shots. Physical therapy is OK to try, but rarely helpful. The shots can be given only about 3-4 times a year. As a rule if you need a second shot, it may be time for surgical intervention if that doesn't resolve the condition.
