Flu Shot & Antibiotics: Can You Get Vaccinated While on Doxycycline?

i want to get a flushot but im on doxycycline antibiotic
can i get it?
how much time has to pass after i finish antibiotic so i can get a flu shot?

Dear Yana,

I find no information that you cannot get your flu shot if you are on Doxycycline.

I would, by all means, let your physician know you are on doxycycline prior to getting the shot.  

If you are allergic to  chicken eggs, or you are running a fever, your shot will not be given.
