Ok it's hard to explain. For like the last past six months i have been having darkish black blood come out a few days before my period. I also have pretty heavy periods thats just started happening well not just started its been a while but you know. I have really bad cramps like i've never had before. I always have pelvic pains too at certain times during the month, and the last couple of days i've been feeling like im about to pass out. My whole body is surda like a numb tingling sensation. It feels kinda heavy. So i don't know if that's what this could be or what? It's really starting to bother me though. Could you help me out?

Hi Hilary,
The symptoms you describe could deffinately be Endo. The pain and heavy periods are very common. So is the "dark and old looking" blood. When you are in pain your nerves can do weird things.
Now, the feeling of passing out, has me a little worried. At times, I have passed out because the pain I was having was so intense, but if you are having this faint feeling when you are not in a lot of pain (by a lot of pain I mean that the pain is bad enough that you can not o about your normal and daily activites)don't wait around, go see a doctor.
The only way to diagnose Endo is through a small procedure (Laprascopy or Laparoscopy) so if you decide to look for diagnosis and you believe this to be your problem, please insist that the doctor do this. Many women with Endo wait an astounding 10 years to finally get this diagnosis.
