Morning After Pill & Heart Conditions: Safety & Considerations

Question
Hello, my name is Megan and I'm 19 years old.

I have just been prescribed the morning after pill, just as a precaution by a doctor. I'm sure he has seen my medical records, but I just wanted to know if the morning after pill is safe for those with a heart condition?
I was 8 days old when I had my surgery, but have checkups every 2 years. I should also mention that I am on the Cerazette birth control pill (I couldn't have the combined pill as I take migraines and because of my heart condition).

I have looked up information online, and most websites say it is fine, but if you have any information on this subject, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks!

Answer
I, personally, don't believe that the morning after pill is safe for any woman. I have heard stories and received questions and emails about problems after using that medication. It is basically a big dose of hormones which I don't think is healthy or wise. I'm glad you are trying to do research on this. You are a smart young lady.

What you need to do is search for "dangers of the morning after pill" or plan B. I use http://www.goodsearch.com
