Unexpected Period Changes After Morning-After Pill: What to Know

Hello im just a little concerned I took the morning after pill at the beginning of the month and did not bleed etc just a bit of nausea. I then bled for not even ten minutes on my normal day of my period (17th) I didnt even get any pain or warning signs like i normally would and have not bled since, I'm normally quite heavy and have never experienced a period like this before.....?

The morning after pill can affect your period the month you take it, so it is very possible that you had a light period due to the hormonal changes from the pill. This is a common side effect. I think it is likely that your light period is due to the morning after pill. However, I recommend taking a home pregnancy test to be sure and to ease your mind.
