Gel Nails vs. Acrylics for Horseback Riders: Which is Best?

i ride horses and tend to get dirt under my nails resulting in my having to scrub my nails i was wondering if gel nails would be best or if you can recommend a different type of fake nail

Hi Gillian

You may scrub under your nails, no matter what system of enhancments you are wearing.  Both UV Gel and Acrylic are equally good products IF they are a quality brand.

My personal preferene is UV Gels, but again, they are no better than standard Acrylic HOWEVER there is toxic acrylic being used in some discount salons that you must watch for and avoid.
