Gel vs. Acrylic Nails: Which is Best for Weak Nails & Cold Hands?

I've had acrylic nails but stopped having them done because they kept lifting.  My nail tech told me that they lifted because I have poor circulation in my hands and they're always cold.  Would gel nails be better for me?  Would they also lift with my cold hands?

Hi Liz,

Acrylic nails or gel nails will not lift because of cold hands. At the other hand cold hands usually go together with wet hands ( or hands that are more moisturized than usual) Tell your nail tech that she should dehydrate your nails more with Ezbond from EzFlow brand and prep the nails extremely dry. Do never wash your hands with water before service and use a soap without water( like a gel) let me know if you encounter the same problems so we can look for other reasons.
