MMA Acrylic Nails: Potential Issues & Removal Concerns

I had gotten my nails done about 3 weeks ago for prom. I had asked for gel nails, but believe the lady ripped me off since she used powder and liquid to make my nail enhancements. At the time I didn't since it was my first time, but after researching on how to remove them I stumbled across MMA info on the net. Well, my fake nails had started to lift off and I just kinda took them off and applied nail oil on them since they look flakey, but thats about it. Should I be concerned? Should I also be concerned about MMA effects, it was just my first time. Thanks.

It's really hard to tell if an enhancement is MMA or not, you can go to a experienced qualified nail technician to remove/repair you current enhancements but he/she can't do more than a educated guess. I Would be too concerned about this, even thow it can be a serious matter there's nothing more to do know except removing them and hoping for the best. If it is MMA at least you only had it applied once. Hope i could help.
