Nail Tips for Short Nails: Options & Extensions

I am a nail biter who has recently quit. I have a little bit of growth but my nail tips have not reached beyond my finger tip. I wanted to get some type of extension on my nails , maybe gels?? I was not sure how long your nails had to be to get tips. I have a small nail bed and as i have said, my nails aren't even that long. I wanted to know if you had any suggestions on what type of tips i should put on and if I would be able to put any on with my short nails. I was thinking about getting very short tips.Do they make very short tips??? Thank you!!! =)

hi, all nail tips are made from abs plastic and are very long so that the technician does not stick to you when applying them, but they can be cut down to any length you feel happy with, i would suggest you do a bit of research in your area and see if there is a good technician that can sculpt you a set of beautiful nails, this means they are built up without using a plastic tips and therefore causing less damage to your nails.  please do not let price influence you as cheap is not always good, ask to see pics of their work, their qualifications etc, check hygiene and ask what aftercare/ homecare advice or leflets they offer.  You have spent a lot of time not biting, dont let someone ruin your nails now.  Please do not hesitate to contact me for further advice. x keeley
