QuestionI am a nail biter who has recently quit. I have a little bit of growth but my nail tips have not reached beyond my finger tip. I DESPERATELY want to get some type of extension on my nails , maybe gels?? I was not sure how long your nails had to be to get tips. I have a small nail bed and as i have said, my nails aren't even that long. I wanted to know if you had any suggestions on what type of tips i should put on and if I would be able to put any on with my short nails. I was thinking about getting very short tips.Do they make very short tips??? Thank you!!! =)
AnswerDear Taylor,
I am a reformed bite myself and I CONGRATULATE you!! It's a tough battle!!!
My best advice to you is to seek out a qualified technician based on their skills and education and not their product of choice. Both QUALITY UV Gel & QUALITY Acrylic are equal in performance and appearance.
Your nails can be very short for both tips and/or sculpts. It's the skill of the technician that makes the difference.
NO, tips aren't made short. They are tailored by the technician to the appropriate length.
Please see this page on my site on how to avoid NSS and thereby learn how to discern a quality technician from a poor one.
