Minimum Nail Length for Artificial Nails & Risks for Short Nails

i've been a nail biter since i've had teeth it seems and they're pretty short, about a half an inch in lenght, if that. recently my cousin got engaged and is getting married and wants to  get us all manicures and fake nails. how long is the minimum length that my nails have to be to get my fake nails put on? and is there any risk for short nails?

A good nail technician can put artificial nails on natural nails of any length. You may want to try and find a tech that uses a pink powder that is opaque. That way, you won't be able to see how short the natural nail is. There is no risk to your health.
