QuestionI went to get my nails done for the first time in years. I had recently been having splitting and peeling nails, and I just wanted them not to do that anymore. I was told about Solar Nails and that they could the worn without polish and looked very natural, so I chose those.
I went to a different salon to get them filled, and was told that they hadn't put solar on me, just regular acrylic. After reading many questions on here, I have now learned that solar is acrylic, just a different variety. Well, the second lady put the pink solar as my fill. You can see the whiter nail still through it, and it looks yucky. Also she used this tiny drill on my nails after the solar had cured to shape it all the way down to my nail bed. There was a definite gouging going on. It didn't get so deep as to be painful, but most of my nails showed noticeable dips between the fake and the natural nail after just a few days.
I went again for a fill and I got a new tech (this I don't like - I had even made an appointment!) and she spoke only Vietnamese and the English for "you like?" and "sorry". Boy she cut me with the cuticle snippers, dug out my nail bed with that tiny drill, and glued my cuts closed so that I can't remove the dried blood from my nails or skin.
So first, I'm not wrong, am I - she wasn't supposed to use that tiny drill all the way up to my nail bed and gouge out the nail to the point that it's all red?
Second, How can I get this dried blood off? I don't know how to remove nail glue?
Third, for a natural looking nail with added strength, should I just stick with the pink solar or switch to something different?
Thanks in advance,

firstly you need to stop going to these vietnamese salons, please visit my website and read what damage the products they use are doing, we are trying to ban it here in the UK.
www.signature-nails.co.uk
secondly using a drill is a no no, especially if its causing you to bleed,, your whole nail experience sounds awful.
Please find a reputable nail salon or nail tech, check they are qualified and legal and do some research, have a look on my site at 'regulate nail salons' and plees sign my online petition.x
I would suggest you find someone who can do fibreglass nails for you, they are least damaging, most natural, dont require a drill, and easy to remove. again more info can be found on my site x
