Gel Nail Allergy Primer: Finding Relief for You and Your Clients

Question
I saw the answer you gave Stacy. I love doing nails and there for studying cosmetology. I knew that I was allergic to  acrylic, but recently discovered I am allergic to gel nails. you said there was a new primer that stacy can use what is the name of it. and do you have the web site or number where I can purchase it. It is handy to have in case one of my clients needs it and for me! Please let me know

Answer
Hi Rosy
Most allergies to nail products are caused by repeated, prologed over-exposure to a chemical.
This means that if someone is putting acrylic liquid on your skin, or allowing wet product to touch your skin, you will suffer irritation, which if ignored will lead to allergic reactions.

The same will happen if uncured gel is allowed to come into contact with your skin.

Do you think that either of these things has been the cause of your allergies?
If they are, then there isnt anything that you can put on your nails to prevent allergic reation.

Describe what your symptons were/are and I'll try to help you further.
