Brisa Gel Allergy: Nail Technician's Experience & Symptoms

Question
I trained as nail tecnition 3 year ago and became allergic to both the gel and acrylic, even when i used gloves on others, my finger tips became tingly with little white spots under the skin around my nails, then they would crack and bleed and were very sore so i stoped doing nails about a year ago.  Just recently i have rtyed the brisa gel over my natural nails, i used only nailvarnish remover to prep and no glue, when i first put it on they were fine, then i did my infils yesterday and they are tingly and spots are coming again, i didnt get any product on my skin because i was very carefull. Should i take them of or try and see if the tingling goes on its own? i am so disheartend and gutterd, i only wanted to do my own nails, i didnt want to do nails on other people, how can i find out what i am actualy alergic to.

Answer
Dear Jackie,

I'm VERY surprised to hear that you are allergic to Brisa gel, as it's hypoallergenic.
With regards to the allergic reaction, the best person to advise you is your doctor and/or dermatologist.
I regret, I can't advise you on this.
To find out what you are allergic to, you must do patch tests involving only one product, not the entire system.

I'm sorry that I can't further help you.  Have you tried contacting Creative to see what support they can offer you?

Best of luck
Victoria
