Cutting Smile Lines Efficiently: Pro Tips to Save Time
QuestionHi Maggie,
I've been doing acrylics for over twenty years now and started doing the pink and whites 2 years ago. I would really like to be able to cut my time..it still takes me about an hour and a half and is frustrating. I've heard about using plastic nail tips to cut the smile lines so you don't have to drill them out. What is your opinion of this? Any other tips for saving time?
Thanks so much!
Beth
AnswerI don't see anything wrong with using tools to make your job easier and help you work more efficiently. So if cutting your smile lines helps and you're clients are ok with it, then do it. You might keep your eye open for a tool that's designed to do this though. The type I like best looks sort of like a ninja throwing star. It'll look more professional and save your tips.
