Mastering the Perfect Smile Line: Acrylic, Gel & Polish Techniques

Hi Liza, I am a nail tech in Australia and desperately need to know how to create a smile line with acrylic,gel and nail polish. Whatever i do does not seem to give a professional look and am deeply concerned. If you have any secret way please let me know as i have been to many workshops and just can not seem to get it right.Please help

as for smiles in ennamel, always load your brush with more than u will need, turn the brush on its side and trying to use the corner of your brush to start the smile, move the brush up into a gentle curve and down again as you approach the other corner,once u have completed the smile line, straighten your brush so that the ends of the bristles are facing the cuticle area & place your brush on the smile line & gently smooth out the enamel. repeat this all along the smile line, but try to do this in the minimum of strokes, it can make it worse if u over play with it!
as for the smile lines in liquid & powder and gel, the best advice i can give u is to log onto www.thesalongeek.com
it is free to register and look up the tutorials by the grand master geek, on smile lines.
they are the same tutorials that i learnt from years ago, but they r still the best!

while u r still practicing this technique, dont do the smile line too deep, just stick to a gentle curve.
