Axxiom Gel Polish: Troubleshooting Slow Drying Times & Tackiness

I had this polish done at a salon and loved it. I have my cosmetologist license, so I got the products(OPI base,polish,top coat, brush) and a 36 watt nail lamp. The problem is that it takes forever for each layer to dry (ie. base coat, laquer, top coat). What am I doing wrong? At the salon, it took 2 min (each coat) under the light. I'm lucky if I can get it to dry in 30 min.! They are dry now, but feel tacky on top. Please help! Thanks! Renee

Hi Renee,

Did you wipe them clean with a cleaner after the top coat?
Each layer you cure has a tacky residue, and the last step which is
Top coat just needs a quick wipe with a alchol based cleaner.
From what you described this is what I think the problem would be!
