QuestionI thought I was getting gel in the USA but it was a powder and so maybe it was not gel. I recently got a gel fill in Japan, it was great. Is there a problem of the first application not being gel even though I was told it was? Also, they hurt me so much that night every nail has a mark in it, as I kept saying I wanted them thin so they kept using the drill. Never again!
AnswerSometimes clients have bad experiences, unfortunately there are many salons that professionals usually refer as NNS (Non Standard Salons), which means these salons are only interested in money, not looking after serving the clients the better way possible, creating good quality nails and and in most cases they don't even care about the health and safety of the client. I think you might ran up to one of these places.
But there are also many qualified, experienced and caring tech, that strive to do their best everytime, only these places are usually more expensive.
My advice to you is to really search for the right place or nail tech before having your nails done again, this can really make a difference!
