Decoding Ring Markings: Understanding 18K and AJR

I have a diamond engagement ring that is marked 18K and AJR on the inside. Any clue to who AJR is?

As you only have those marking then its impossible to guess even.

If it was marked with some Guild stamps then you could find out through them.....all I can say is that AJR is probably the person who made your ring. But you'd guessed that already.
