Decoding Gold Ring Markings: 14K GE & 14K 750 Explained

I just purchased a ring online and it has the markings of
W 14KGE. Can you tell me what this stands for. Is it real
gold?  Also, I have another diamond ring that has stamped
on it 14K 750. What does the 750 stand for.I would
appreciate any information. Thanks

14K GE may be Gold Plated. It may also be 14 Gold Hallmarked GE.
750 means 18K Gold.

Have them tested.
