Identifying Diamond Clarity: Understanding Claddaugh Ring Markings

I purchased a men's irish claddaugh ring at an estate auction.  I have tested the diamonds and they are genuine, but the stamp inside the ring is differant to say the least.  Can you help?  No info out there on the web.  The stamp is "3HD602"  with no other markings.  I am assuming that it is foreign, but I could be wrong.

Thank you for your inquiry. Unusual that the ring is set with diamonds but no other markings. I don't have any mark like this in my resources, but venture to say it is probably foreign. The HD could be a designer or design inventory number. Have you had it tested to see whether it is gold ? I would definitely have this done by a professional jeweler or gemologist.
