Hello David - Well the 18K means it is 18K gold, but the DE I have not located yet. Could be the manufacturers initials/logo or the previous owner. Since it is precious with a diamond you might want to have it appraised by a gemologist. They will usually appraise one item for less than $25.00. If you have a jewelry estate appraiser in your area, they would be able to help you. Sometimes your bank can refer you to someone. Hope this helps !
