Antique Lion Head Gold Bracelet with Rubies and Diamonds | Appraisal & Details

I have a bracelet that has a lion head with rubie eyes and a diamond in the mouth.  There are 6 round links with a diamond in each one surrounding the head.  the bracelet is ovals about 3/4"x1/2" linked together with the first two links having diamonds in them also. It is made of gold.  The links with diamonds in them and the ones surrounding the head have a star pattern with the diamonds in the center.  What can you tell me about it.

Hello Greg - It is very difficult to tell much about an item without a "hands on" or good photo. I would first ask if there are any markings on the bracelet. This might help to identify the piece by designer or manufacturer as well as the karat gold. If you want a valuation, I would suggest that you take the item to a gemologist or a certified estate jewelry appraiser. By your description, it may have a high value. Lions were a very popular jewelry theme through the ages and they were often found with precious stones in a roaring mouth or along the mane.
