Identifying a Vintage Scarab Bracelet: Meaning of Markings

Question
I found a scarab bracelet in my mother's jewelry box, possibly from the late 50's, early 60's.  I can see no markings other than what looks like oriental writing etched in the back of each stone.  They all appear to be genuine stones like tiger eye, quartz, or something.  The etchings have a * symbol and 111 or something resembling that.  Do you know what that might indicate?

Answer
Hi Jan,

I'm sorry I thought I answered your question earlier. Many of these scarb bracelets were made in Hong Kong and were made with genuine stones. As far as any symbolism to these markings I am unfarmiliar with anything special with them. These were usually just their model and style numbers.

Thanks
Peter
